CHURCH CRIMES: WHO EXPOSES? WHO PAYS? June 29, 2010

Erle Frayne Argonza

A devout Catholic man hurried into the cathedral in his city one day to confess to his parish priest. He felt the irresistible urge to confess and be expiated of any guilt about what he saw in the parish convent one day, and so he had to let the priest be informed right away. Let’s listen to the dialogue:

Devotee: “Bless me Father for I have sinned.”

Priest: “Go ahead Son, tell me what’s bothering you.” The devotee was as white as ash, noted the priest.

Devotee: “Father, forgive me please, but for couples of occasions now, I’ve been peeping in the convent. I’ve been seeing you and your girlfriend having sex.”

Priest: “Oh My God! What things are you talking about?” The priest now turned furious.

Devotee: “I know you’ll feel outraged Father, that’s why I am confessing this sin to you. To be exact Father, your girlfriend is Sister Ngefati, the one from the Order….”

Priest: “Alright, you’ve really been committing this sin, really grave sin! Cut it!”

Devotee: “I’m really sorry Father. What will I do?”

Priest: “To expiate yourself, you must pray 1000 Our Fathers and 5000 Hail Mary’s right now!”… Whew, what a sinful Peeping Tom!…

Meantime, in another parish not far away from this one, a female devotee hurriedly went to the confessional to see her pastor. Almost forcibly barging through a long queue of sinners, without which the church won’t even exist, the lady finally reached her goal and plunged at once into the ridiculously looking wooden box for confession, kneeled and revealed her story. The story goes:

Devotee: “Bless me Father for I have sinned.” She was in tears as she began to reveal her inner feelings.

Priest: “Please go ahead, dear Daughter, and tell me what’s bothering you.” The lady was now sobbing in tears.

Devotee: “Father, as I was cleaning your office yesterday, I felt the irresistible urge to see what’s inside your working table. And I saw inside, in what looked like accounting reports, copies of your bank accounts. I found out that you have secret bank accounts, Father, and they total more than P100 Million in all.”

Priest: “For Christ’s sake, what have you done? What else did you see?”

Devotee: “I further saw that the accounts were spread out in three banks.” She then mentioned the names of the banks.

Priest: ….(Silence)….”Hmmm, pssst, it’s just between the two of us. I’ll give you 5% worth of commissions for all my accounts, and will also gift you with a new car as bonus. Please keep this secret to yourself.”… “Okey, please go to the altar area, pray 1 Our Father and 10 Hail Mary’s, and rest assured your sins are light and will be forgiven pronto.”

Now, come to think of it, there are many such narratives going on everyday of our lives. As I am writing this note, the Catholic clergy in Manila has already established its propensity for pinpointing other people’s sins, notably government officials’, whom the clergy has slandered in pulpits and in the media. Sometimes the other churches would sing along with the Catholic tunes, but often than not the Catholic Church acts like a solitary sinless dragon in search for earthly demons.

The question worth asking now is: who will pay for the sins of the Catholic priests, religious orders, and bishops, which for simplicity I will refer to as Church? What mechanisms are there to countercheck against abuses and crimes committed by the Church? One need only to immerse oneself for around six (6) months in any parish in the country to be able to pick up information about every kind of sin and crimes committed from the parish to the bishop’s palace. What say you when you get the facts?

So powerful is the Church in the Philippines and everywhere else that many church crimes remain unpunished. The Church is the biggest landlord in the country, its combined realty and financial assets being so vast no single private institution can match it. While many Catholic devotees shout every kind of invective against unjust landlords in the streets every day, and while many priests and nuns echo the same message against private landlords, nobody notices the landlordism of the Church except for a few daring writers.

Even among investigative journalists, who have established their mark as crusaders against corruption and criminality, one can never find a single document that exposes the extent of landlordism and untaxed assets of the Church. One gets the feeling that maybe there are vested interests elsewhere who may have provided the journalists the money to expose the anomalies and crimes of government officials in particular. But what vested interest will ever have the courage to expose Church crimes, and do so by providing the budgets for journalists who can conduct the research and publish the results for everyone to read? No such quarter exist till this day!

It’s almost like a mafia code of silence going on, declaring that “anybody but the Church.” This story goes through for the other major denominations in the country. Go ahead and search for any investigative report about crimes committed within the confines of each of the major denominations, and your effort will prove futile. The only crimes reported are those done by fringe groups of cults, some of whose leaders already landed behind bars for crimes of sexual molestation and rebellion.

The moment that any interest group would start making critical commentaries about any denomination or sect, the same group must prepare for the eventuality that it will be demonized in public as an agent of Satan. The fundamentalists are particularly the quickest to demonize and slander many interest groups, notably their competitors within the Christian community (Catholics, Methodists), whom they project as “persecutors of Christians.” And yet the same fundamentalists have openly supported military aggression against states that they perceive as agents of Satan, never mind the collateral damage that the war can bring to the said state or population.

And didn’t one notice the crimes committed by the leaders of the fundamentalists, such as the crimes of the televangelists? At least in America, there are instances when crimes done by churches witness some people paying for them, or be punished in the media at least. Many crimes of sexual harassment and misconduct already saw diocese units pay up for the crimes in cash, by indemnifying the victims concerned.

At least there are some noisy elements in America who dare to speak of the unspeakable, and expose church leaders and officials for their felonies and misconduct. In the Philippines and South America, the churches remain as all-powerful beings that nobody could question, let alone charge with criminal offense. No wonder that when caudillos get to power in South America, and when caudillo power turns to the authoritarian swing, the state hardly shows respect for church leaders and treats them casually like any other citizen who can be chastised, punished or brutally mistreated.

As I write this note, the conflicts among Sunni and Shiite Moslems in Western Asia have been turning to the worst of scenarios. In the name of Allah, each party in the conflict commits abominable crimes against the members of the other denomination. In which case, the element of ‘sin’ cannot even apply to the commission of crimes at all. Thousands are dying every day, and thousands more are being dislocated due to escalating conflicts and mass murders. Thousands are losing their jobs for various reasons, even as thousands of jobs are closing down as economic players are compelled to close shop due to high risks and damages wrought by daily rituals of violence and war-related criminality.

Religion is so great indeed that if one were to climb up the pyramid and become leader or patriarch, one will be offered the immense privilege to commit crimes and hide the offense by using theological rationalizations. Infinite are the privileges that go with the power immanent from high positions of hierarchy within the churches. The joke goes that for a Catholic man or gay, it would be best to become a priest because one can have many girls or boys for free without paying up for the cost of marriage and family life. Joke may this be, but it sums up the issue raised in this note: the criminal offenses and injustices committed by the churches.

Whether church crimes would determinately crack church legitimacy is another question altogether. For as long as the Earth is predominantly populated by evolutionary Laggards who cannot perceive spirituality outside of the church way, church legitimacy will go on for a long time yet. The secularism of modernity is now passing away, and before long the atheism of the West, particularly Europe, will swing to the other extreme: fascistic fundamentalism.

For how long will church legitimacy stand we cannot be certain. But as soon as the Earth’s population will swing to the ‘star child’ or ‘star seed’ variety, or will be predominantly of the Seeker type, the palatability of the church way will radically recede. There is now a greater likelihood that at the end of this century, the planet will be largely populated by Seekers. And so the hope is high that, when such a situation arises, church power will be counterchecked at last and the crimes committed by churches can go punished.

Meantime, while such a situation hasn’t come yet, we have to watch out for more church crimes committed each day, and a World War take place due to the Sunni-Shiite conflict. We are compelled by circumstances to declare “hear no evil, see no evil.” We may better focus on our own inner transformation and be unaffected by whatever crimes are happening around us. Let’s better ensure ourselves then of the positive results of such self-realization efforts.

GURU OF NATIONHOOD June 22, 2010

Erle Frayne D. Argonza

Good afternoon from Manila!

Is it possible to practice guru for nationhood? Everybody who knows the term ‘guru’ or teacher expects the role of somebody who mentors on the level of the individual psyche, or intervenes on the individual level. Let me shed light about the matter.

There are different levels of consciousness and awareness. Each one of us has an individual aspect to our consciousness, which sociologists call the ‘individual self’ or authentic self. The individual self is the repository of our personality, the totality of our behavior system that allows us to behave in many circumstances in a unique way. The mind of our unique self is called the ‘individual mind’ plain and simple.

As we move up the ladder of sociality, we encounter the ‘collective consciousness’. Sociologists used the terms ‘conscience collective’ (Durkheim), ‘social consciousness’ (Marx), and ‘social self’ (G.H.Mead) to refer to this level of consciousness and type of self. The rules that guide our behavior are deposited in our collective memory and operate through our ‘social self’.

The nation is a cultural being that comprises of a congregation or agglomeration of diverse ethnicities, races, social classes, genders, and other social identities. At the level of nation, collective consciousness operates and congeals as rules, national culture and identity. Nationhood therefore is no fixed thing, born from out of a silver platter, but is rather an entity that has to be collectively constructed.

It is in the task of constructing nationhood that diverse teachers do come to help mold minds of people towards accepting a common culture, identity and normative template as a people. Gurus are indeed sent from time to time, whose missions have to do with galvanizing collective consciousness towards an ‘enlightened society’ rather than focus on individual learning of the Teaching.

Among the various mystics who were sent forth by the Divine Hierarchy to focus on the collective consciousness formation, Jose Rizal and Mahatma Gandhi come to mind as the prototypes for modernity. Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, practically expended his time and effort teaching his fellow islander Malayans in accepting an identity as ‘Filipino’ and learning the patriotic values and duties that go with practicing citizenship.

Mahatma Gandhi, who read Rizal and must have been aware of the mystic-guru side to the first Filipino, likewise embarked on the noble mission of teaching nationhood for his beloved India. Among the patriotic virtues that he taught, that of ahimsa (peace/non-violence) stands out as the most. He preached nationhood till the last breath of his physical body, and did a lot of punishing self-sacrifices just to prove his point. Even his profession and money pursuits he sacrificed in the last instance.

Both of them eventually lost their lives for the cause. Rizal was executed by the Spanish overlords of his beloved Philippines, while Gandhi was assassinated by a partisan fanatic. During that moment of death, what people don’t realize is that, as their respective souls departed, they made inner commitments to Cosmic Hierarchy that they partly shoulder the collective karma of their nation. In other words, they carried the cross for their nation, in the same way the Jesus carried the cross of the entire planet Earth’s humanity.

In a similar way, gurus who intervene on the level of individual consciousness do take a part of the karma of their respective individual disciples. Some of them suddenly acquire incurable cancer, some would lose their voice partly, while some others could die from absorbing so many vibrations and bad karmas of their disciples. That’s what it means to become a guru: take on the cross for others.

So, Fellows, let us please appreciate the noble works of gurus for nationhood for their selfless dedication to their thankless jobs. They more than deserve accolades for their sacrifices and gargantuan feats. No wonder why some people regard them as worth the cult worship, revere them like gods. They deserve enormous respect, to say the least.

SATAN INSIDE CLUBS, DESTROYING FELLOWSHIP June 4, 2010

Erle Frayne D. Argonza

In a previous article, I wrote about an Inner Demon that works hard to destroy you from within. This time around, let me right some notes about how Leviathan resides in your organization, seeking ceaselessly to destroy devotion, commitment, and vows to the club. The Fellowships or Orders (fraternities) are particularly the most vulnerable to Leviathan’s relentless attack from within (the organization).

As I’m writing this piece, I am particularly very bewildered and bothered by the fragmentation of my own fraternal Order which I will simply dub as Phoenix. From the inception of this Order or fellowship (mid-70s), it was already embroiled in so much polarity. The brethren particularly, more than the sisters, are the most vulnerable to the polarity game. As soon as the Phoenix took off with its core of four (4) youth brethren, there was quarrel inside, leading to the departure of two (2), in other words there was breakage of vow and treachery on Year 1 alone. The vibration of treachery had since dogged the fraternity, till now the contagious effect of its vibration is seemingly unstoppable.

Those two remaining originals eventually became just one. Then, this one who remained, and who joined me to reconstitute the Phoenix in 1994 (it slept from 1984-‘93), also showed signs of a breakage of vow. He was never appreciative of the innovations I was introducing to this Order, which I had to convert into a true fraternity. Previously, it was merely a loose youth club of sorts, serving the interests of the local Bolsheviks here. Eventually, this last remaining original also rested from the Order, for one reason or another.

During its most active years, there were betrayals and treacheries occurring so commonly. Brothers betraying brothers, breaking of Eros vows between brothers and their loved one (sister) or vice versa, brethren betraying the Order and treating it irreverently or as something ordinary, fellows disrespecting the pillars and culture of the Order. It was very rough sailing for me in directing Phoenix admittedly. The energy of polarity, betrayals, breakage of vows was so strong and I simply didn’t have the occult powers to plug them then (till its rest in 2004).

My own greatest fear is that certain brethren will recruit bad quality novitiates, and this indeed happened. The brethren, more so the older ones (we called them Oldies), were simply getting people inside because they were drinking buddies or cronies of theirs. Bad! And to cap it all, the last recruits were underachievers, some of whom may even be guns-for-hire types for all we know.

In recent months though, my awareness had gone up, and my occult powers have improved. I badly need a vehicle to bring my missions to the next level, which is the Guru level. And so I’m considering re-awakening Phoenix, even if I myself experienced betrayal by a brethren (he openly slandered me behind my back in 2005). To my own shock, the low-quality guys inside have been planning to take over, or conspiring to destroy the systems (structure, process, culture) that took me and my fellows so much painstaking efforts to build.

Truly bewildered by their behavior, I then proceeded to meditate on the subject, meditate about the polarity behavior and the disrespect given to fellows within, even to me now. At a time when I have moved to my guru phase, I am getting utter disrespect from people who in fact gained a lot of self-integration lessons from me in the past. At a time when my Light Body is now awakening, my aura now a very powerful crucible of higher Light, my own fellows (though of lower grade initiates) disrespect me and have in fact already departed paths with me. I’m so puzzled, bothered, intrigued!

Late last month (April 2008), I meditated one afternoon using the supine position (it was a 1-hour lasting meditation), after taking a nap. To my horror, the following scenes appeared in my vision, indicating that these ‘fellows’ were in fact the sons of Satan, or Leviathan, or Ahriman:

  • Scene 1: A past life scene. A man exuding wisdom, fair in complexion, holding a clay or stone tablet atop his head, like ready to break it. Dressed in the ancient Semitic garb. Scene lasted more than a minute.

  • Scene 2: Men and women, apparently migrant, moving with their animal and personal stuff. Across valleys, rocky and almost barren lands. Moving scene for more than a minute.

  • Scene 3: Huge reptilian thing, even bigger than the T-Rex, but with smoother skin. Almost impressionistic, as its surrounds were brightly shining, its head away from me, its long tail near my face area. Moving reptilian, for more than a minute.

Having then seen a memory of a past being reviewed, I proceeded to meditate on the meaning of the vision. Who was this long-haired, wise though seemingly angry one? What were those huge flocks of migrants? The reptilian thing though seemingly mythical type and not any one of the biological things we know? My hair raised on all ends as the following interpretations gelled in my still meditatve mind:

  • Era was the Mosaic-Egyptian dynastic. The sagely man was Moses! My God, I saw a vision of Moses for the first time! And he was angry because he faced flocks of recalcitrant Sons of Belial, who disrespected him, his disciples (Aaron & Jeshua), and the Law that he was bound to introduce and execute. He looked better than Charlton Heston, though he wore almost the same clothes as the movie actor in the exodus film.

  • The people were the Israeli slaves from Egypt. Among them were the Sons of Belial, folks who in previous lives were demonic Atlanteans. Fact is, the word Atlantean was synonymous to demonic, as the demonic mind dominated Atlantis for much of its history. …And among them were my Phoenix brethren!

  • Leviathan, it was he! Manifesting as huge dinosaur-lizard like thing, with light flowing into it. My God! Leviathan or Satan was claiming back his own people, and will not want any club comprising of his minions who will later use the same club against him.

I was so moved by the vision, almost unnerved, which amplified my deep worry about Phoenix, that I had to admit there was no more reconciliation between some of the brethren who declared Oneness with me and those who departed with their faction. The next two days, in succession, Jesus Christ himself appeared in my meditation visions, appeasing me and declaring in thought that I am doing the right thing in the Path and in my missions, that the Divine Hierarchy supports me squarely and protects me. (Note that it’s a normal event to see Jesus in my meditations, he being among the chohans of my Order the White Lodge).

My greater worry now is that my brethren are moving fast towards slow but assured self-destruction. A Dark Energy veil is moving fast and engulfing my brods. Because they ended up breaking their vows or disrespected the Light from Liberty (a goddess or 7th Plane being) and never even recognized this deific Light a bit, and shut their doors on Phoenix, they attracted its opposite: the Darkest Energy from the 7th Gates of the Evil dominions.

Many brethren are now dying slowly but surely, more so those who were in leadership positions before but broke vows. If not them, their respective spouses die of slow death, like cancer (Brod JM’s wife, Brod CM’s wife who is also a sister, Brod FD’s mother-in-law). The Dark Veil is now enveloping them quickly, and I saw this veil like huge snakes so lengthy they have no beginning nor end, and in a meditation one of it tried to gobble me but can’t (it’s too late for them to affect me).

Now it’s done. The Dark Veil has been unleashed with ferocious fury. I don’t even have to run after those traitors, as they and their family members will eventually die even before the 2012 polar shift comes. It is certain. The casualties will geometrically rise in 2011-2012. It’s definite that most if not all of them will be transferred, upon death, to the new Planet for the less evolved, 20.5 located lightyears away from us. By repeating ancient patterns of demonic recalcitrance and betrayals, they missed the chance to evolve in this lifetime.

I now have to salvage anything that’s left in my Order. A few brethren, then the sisters. Before long the Dark Energy will also encircle the sisters, who comprise half the hundreds of fellows of Phoenix. I now have the power to plug the Dark Veil, provided that the sisters agree to come back and revive the sorority. For the deity Liberty herself, the libertarian aspect of God, protects the Phoenix.

Satan (Ahriman, Leviathan) is right inside collectivities, fellow Earthans! He rides and commands the Inner Demon in each one fellow, takes control of the collective mind of the group, and then fragments if not take full control of it. Organized crime groups are examples of groups whose collective minds are Satanic or Ahrimanic, even if its members profess belief in God or Christ and go to church, which many Anti-Christ minded people do in fact. God bless your clubs in any way He can. Amen.
