PRIMEVAL RADIATIONS FROM THE UNITY

We move next to refinements in the peregrinations concerning the manifestations of the ‘germ’ from the One. In the mantra I AM THAT I AM the beginning of primeval radiations from the highest unity is clearly embedded.

 

The spiritually Perfected Ones thus declared, in Sloka 8 of Stanza 3, Book of Dzyan, the contention:

 

WHERE WAS THE GERM, AND WHERE WAS NOW DARKNESS?  WHERE IS THE SPIRIT OF THE FLAME THAT BURNS IN THY LAMP, OH LANOO?  THE GERM IS THAT, AND THAT IS LIGHT; THE WHITE BRILLIANT SON OF THE DARK HIDDEN FATHER (a).

 

Taking that as frame, with constant guidance from the Mahatmas, the chela Helena P. Blavatsky substantiated the same statement, in Volume I, Secret Doctrine, the following articulation:

 

(a) The answer to the first question, suggested by the second, which is the reply of the teacher to the pupil, contains in a single phrase one of the most essential truths of occult philosophyIt indicates the existence of things imperceptible to our physical senses which are of far greater importance, more real and more permanent, than those that appeal to these senses themselvesBefore the Lanoo can hope to understand the transcendentally metaphysical problem contained in the first question he must be able to answer the second, while the very answer he gives to the second will furnish him with the clue to the correct reply to the first.

In the Sanskrit Commentary on this Stanza, the terms used for the concealed and the unrevealed Principle are manyIn the earliest MSS. of Indian literature this Unrevealed, Abstract Deity has no nameIt is called generally “That” (Tad in Sanskrit), and means all that is, was, and will be, or that can be so received by the human mind

Among such appellations, given, of course, only in esoteric philosophy, as the “Unfathomable Darkness,” the “Whirlwind,” etc.—it is also called the “It of the Kalahansa, the Kala-ham-sa,” and even the “Kali Hamsa,” (Black swan)Here the m and the n are convertible, and both sound like the nasal French an or am, or, again, en or em (Ennui, Embarras, etc.) As in the Hebrew Bible, many a mysterious sacred name in Sanscrit conveys to the profane ear no more than some ordinary, and often vulgar word, because it is concealed anagrammatically or otherwiseThis word of Hansa or esoterically “hamsa” is just such a caseHamsa is equal to a-ham-sa, three words meaning “I am he” (in English), while divided in still another way it will read “So-ham,” “he (is) I”—Soham being equal to Sah, “he,” and aham, “I,” or “I am he.” In this alone is contained the universal mystery, the doctrine of the identity of man’s essence with god-essence, for him who understands the language of wisdomHence the glyph of, and the allegory about, Kalahansa (or hamsa), and the name given to Brahma neuter (later on, to the male Brahmâ) of “Hansa-Vahana,” he who uses the Hansa as his vehicle.” The same word may be read “Kalaham-sa” or “I am I” in the eternity of Time, answering to the Biblical, or rather Zoroastrian “I am that I am.” The same doctrine is found in the Kabala, as witness the following extract from an unpublished MS. by Mr. S. Liddell McGregor Mathers, the learned Kabalist“The three pronouns  Hoa, Atah Ani; He, Thou, I; are used to symbolize the ideas of Macroprosopus and Microprosopus in the Hebrew QabalahHoa, “He,” is applied to the hidden and concealed Macroprosopus; Atah, “Thou,” to Microprosopus; and Ani, “I,” to the latter when He is represented as speaking(See Lesser Holy Assembly, 204 et seq.) It is to be noted that each of these names consists of three letters, of which the letter Aleph , A, forms the conclusion of the first word Hoa, and the commencement of Atah and Ani, as if it were the connecting link between themBut  is the symbol of the Unity and consequently of the unvarying Idea of the Divine operating through all theseBut behind the  in the name Hoa are the letters and, the symbols of the numbers Six and Five, the Male and the Female, the Hexagram and the PentagramAnd the numbers of these three words, Hoa Atah Ani, are 12, 406, and 61, which are resumed in the key numbers of 3, 10, and 7, by the Qabalah of the Nine Chambers, which is a form of the exegetical rule of Temura.

It is useless to attempt to explain the mystery in fullMaterialists and the men of modern Science will never understand it, since, in order to obtain clear perception of it, one has first of all to admit the postulate of a universally diffused, omnipresent, eternal Deity in Nature; secondly, to have fathomed the mystery of electricity in its true essence; and thirdly, to credit man with being the septenary symbol, on the terrestrial plane, of the One Great UNIT (the Logos), which is Itself the Seven-vowelled sign, the Breath crystallized into the WORD.* He who believes in all this, has also to believe in the multiple combination of the seven planets of Occultism and of the Kabala, with the twelve zodiacal signs; to attribute, as we do, to each planet and to each constellation an influence which, in the words of Ely Star (a French Occultist), “is proper to it, beneficent or maleficent, and this, after the planetary Spirit which rules it, who, in his turn, is capable of influencing men and things which are found in harmony with him and with which he has any affinity.” For these reasons, and since few believe in the foregoing, all that can now be given is that in both cases the symbol of Hansa (whether “I,” “He,” Goose or Swan) is an important symbol, representing, for instance, Divine Wisdom, Wisdom in dark-beyond the reach of menFor all exoteric purposes, Hansa, as every Hindu knows, is a fabulous bird, which, when given milk mixed with water for its food (in the allegory) separated the two, drinking the milk and leaving the water; thus showing inherent wisdom—milk standing symbolically for spirit, and water for matter.

That this allegory is very ancient and dates from the very earliest archaic period, is shown by the mention (in Bhagavata Purâna) of a certain caste named “Hamsa” “or “Hansa,” which was the “one caste” par excellence; when far back in the mists of a forgotten past there was among the Hindus only “One Veda, One Deity, One Caste.” There is also a range in the Himalayas, described in the old books as being situated north of Mount Meru, called “Hamsa,” and connected with episodes pertaining to the history of religious mysteries and initiationsAs to the name of Kâla-Hansa being the supposed vehicle of Brahmâ-Prajâpati, in the exoteric texts and translations of the Orientalists, it is quite a mistakeBrahma, the neuter, is called by them Kala-Hansa and Brahmâ, the male, Hansa-Vahana, because forsooth “his vehicle or Vahan is a swan or goose” (vide “the Hindu Classical Dictionary.”) This is a purely exoteric glossEsoterically and logically, if Brahma, the infinite, is all that is described by the Orientalists, namely, agreeably with the Vedantic texts, an abstract deity in no way characterised by the description of any human attributes, and it is still maintained that he or it is called Kala-Hansa—then how can it ever become the Vahan of Brahmâ, the manifested finite god?  It is quite the reverseThe “Swan or goose” (Hansa) is the symbol of that male or temporary deity, as he, the emanation of the primordial Ray, is made to serve as a Vahan or vehicle for that divine Ray, which otherwise could not manifest itself in the Universe, being, antiphrastically, itself an emanation of “Darkness”—for our human intellect, at any rateIt is Brahmâ, then, who is Kâla-Hansa, and the Ray, the Hansa-Vahana.

As to the strange symbol chosen, it is equally suggestive; the true mystic significance being the idea of a universal matrix, figured by the primordial waters of the “deep,” or the opening for the reception, and subsequently for the issue, of that one ray (the Logos), which contains in itself the other seven procreative rays or powers (the logoi or builders)Hence the choice by the Rosecroix of the aquatic fowl—whether swan or pelican,* with seven young ones for a symbol, modified and adapted to the religion of every countryEn-Soph is called the “Fiery Soul of the Pelican” in the Book of Numbers.† (See Part II. “The Hidden Deity and its Symbols and Glyphs.”) Appearing with every Manvantara as Narâyan, or Swayambhuva (the

Self-Existent), and penetrating into the Mundane Egg, it emerges from it at the end of the divine incubation as Brahmâ or Prajâpati, a progenitor of the future Universe into which he expandsHe is Purusha (spirit), but he is also Prakriti (matter)Therefore it is only after separating himself into two halves—Brahmâ-vâch (the female) and Brahmâ-Virâj (the male), that the Prajâpati becomes the male Brahmâ.

LIGHT EMERGES FROM DARKNESS

At this juncture let’s proceed to a further reflection on the emergence of Light from Darkness. This is impeccably a very recondite subject without doubt, ordinary mortals are inclined to think of the dichotomy of light and darkness.

Light in occult knowledge or ‘spiritual science’, Divine Light if to stress the divinity of Light, is not the same physical light that we are accustomed to in the material world. It isn’t heat nor fire either.

Darkness, on the other hand, isn’t identical to ‘evil’. It is rather the condition of reality or Universe during the dissolution-to-rest phase or pralaya.

The spiritually Perfected Ones declared in Sloka 6 of Stanza 3, Book of Dzyan, the following cogitation:

THE ROOT OF LIFE WAS IN EVERY DROP OF THE OCEAN OF IMMORTALITY (Amrita)* AND THE OCEAN WAS RADIANT LIGHT, WHICH WAS FIRE AND HEAT AND MOTION. DARKNESS VANISHED AND WAS NO MORE.† IT DISAPPEARED IN ITS OWN ESSENCE, THE BODY OF FIRE AND WATER, OF FATHER AND MOTHER (a).

HPBlavatsky, chela of the Chohans & Mahatmas of the spiritual Brotherhood, substantiated the same sloka, as expressed in Volume I, Secret Doctrine, to note:

(a) The essence of darkness being absolute light, Darkness is taken as the appropriate allegorical representation of the condition of the Universe during Pralaya, or the term of absolute rest, or non-being, as it appears to our finite minds. The “fire,” “heat,” and “motion” here spoken of, are, of course, not the fire, heat, and motion of physical science, but the underlying abstractions, the noumena, or the soul, of the essence of these material manifestations—the “things in themselves,” which, as modern science confesses, entirely elude the instruments of the laboratory, and which even the mind cannot grasp, although it can equally little avoid the conclusion that these underlying essences of things must exist. Fire and Water, or Father* and Mother, may be taken here to mean the divine Ray and Chaos. “Chaos, from this union with Spirit obtaining sense, shone with pleasure, and thus was produced the Protogonos (the first-born light),” says a fragment of Hermas. Damascius calls it Dis in “Theogony”—“The disposer of all things.” (See Cory’s “Ancient Fragments,” p. 314.)
According to the Rosicrucian tenets, as handled and explained by the profane for once correctly, if only partially, so “Light and Darkness are identical in themselves, being only divisible in the human mind;” and according to Robert Fludd, “Darkness adopted illumination in order to make itself visible” (On Rosenkranz). According to the tenets of Eastern Occultism, DARKNESS is the one true actuality, the basis and the root of light, without which the latter could never manifest itself, nor even exist. Light is matter, and DARKNESS pure Spirit. Darkness, in its radical, metaphysical basis, is subjective and absolute light; while the latter in all its seeming effulgence and glory, is merely a mass of shadows, as it can never be eternal, and is simply an illusion, or Maya.
Even in the mind-baffling and science-harassing Genesis, light is created out of darkness “and darkness was upon the face of the deep” (ch. i. v. 2.)—and not vice versâ. “In him (in darkness) was life; and the life was the light of men” (John i. 4). A day may come when the eyes of men will be opened; and then they may comprehend better than they do now, that verse in the Gospel of John that says “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehendeth it not.” They will see then that the word “darkness” does not apply to man’s spiritual eyesight, but indeed to “Darkness,” the absolute, that comprehendeth not (cannot cognize) transient light, however transcendent to human eyes. Demon est Deus inversus. The devil is now called Darkness by the Church, whereas, in the Bible he is called the “Son of God” (see Job), the bright star of the early morning, Lucifer (see Isaiah). There is a whole philosophy of dogmatic craft in the reason why the first Archangel, who sprang from the depths of Chaos, was called Lux (Lucifer), the “Luminous Son of the Morning,” or manvantaric Dawn. He was transformed by the Church into Lucifer or Satan, because he is higher and older than Jehovah, and had to he sacrificed to the new dogma. (See Book II.)

SEVEN ETERNITIES, KALPA, MANVANTARA

For this note, let me share to you the notion of eons coming from the East, a notion that is well rooted in Theos Sophia or divine wisdom. Western cultures that tend to be so materialistic have only but feeble notions about the ‘age’ of Kosmos, based on the time-space principles of 3-dimensional sciences and philosophy.

The great cycle of evolution of being (subjectivity) and forms (objectivity), of the conditions for further effectuations of precedent cause, is termed as ‘Maha-Kalpa’ in the East, alternately termed as ‘maha-manvantara’ (I wrote about the subject previously). Whether ‘eternity’ indeed prevails, as understood in the West, is something worth reflecting about, as divine wisdom speaks differently of the flow of sequential events.

Says the Secret Doctrine about the ‘seven eternities’:

(a) By the Seven “Eternities,” æons or periods are meant. The word “Eternity,” as understood in Christian theology, has no meaning to the Asiatic ear, except in its application to the ONE existence; nor is the term sempiternity, the eternal only in futurity, anything better than a misnomer.* Such words do not and cannot exist in philosophical metaphysics, and were unknown till the advent of ecclesiastical Christianity. The Seven Eternities meant are the seven periods, or a period answering in its duration to the seven periods, of a Manvantara, and extending throughout a Maha-Kalpa or the “Great Age”—100 years of Brahmâ—making a total of 311,040,000,000,000 of years; each year of Brahmâ being composed of 360 “days,” and of the same number of “nights” of Brahmâ (reckoning by the Chandrayana or lunar year); and a “Day of Brahmâ” consisting of 4,320,000,000 of mortal years. These “Eternities” belong to the most secret calculations, in which, in order to arrive at the true total, every figure must be 7x (7 to the power of x); x varying according to the nature of the cycle in the subjective or real world; and every figure or number relating to, or representing all the different cycles from the greatest to the smallest—in the objective or unreal world—must necessarily be multiples of seven. The key to this cannot be given, for herein lies the mystery of esoteric calculations, and for the purposes of ordinary calculation it has no sense. “The number seven,” says the Kabala, “is the great number of the Divine Mysteries;” number ten is that of all human knowledge (Pythagorean decade); 1,000 is the number ten to the third power, and therefore the number 7,000 is also symbolical. In the Secret Doctrine the figure and number 4 are the male symbol only on the highest plane of abstraction; on the plane of matter the 3 is the masculine and the 4 the female: the upright and the horizontal in the fourth stage of symbolism, when the symbols became the glyphs of the generative powers on the physical plane. Within the skein of time, our civilizations and histories on the physical plane are too infinitesimal when circumscribed within the larger background of the ‘7 eternities’. By releasing the same knowledge to the public at large, the seekers are provided the core knowledge with which to reflect on their own chances of merger with the One Universal Principle in due time.

Our geologists are incidentally knowledgeable about the age of Earth or Terra, which is over 4 billion years old. That contention coincides with the estimates of spiritual masters from the East, an estimate that is based on ancient wisdom passed on as Theos Sophia by the spiritual Hierarchy.

As the mahatmas have explicated, too many souls won’t be able to make it in time during the pralaya phase of our own great cycle. Too many souls will perish by the wayside, dissolved in the process, for souls aren’t exactly imperishable. Only the Monad is imperishable, which when fully activated due to enormous efforts of the Aspirant across the eons, will be re-integrated back to ‘Godhead’ or the One Universal Principle.

PROFESSOR ERLE ARGONZA SPEAKS AT 2ND ANNUAL PH UFO CONFERENCE

Prof. Erle Frayne Argonza, social scientist and spiritual guru, was guest speaker recently during the 2nd Annual PH UFO Conference. Guided by the theme UFO E.T. Presence – the Philippine Link, the conference was sponsored by the UFO Society of the Philippines.

 

In his paper titled “Philippines-Mu, Earth Changes, Cosmic Awakening,” Prof Argonza presented the background, to wit:

 

Two contentions today are making ripples across the country: (a) that the Philippines is a remnant of the super-continent of Mu; and, (b) that Earth will ascend back to 4th Dimension on 12/21/12, thus ending a long epoch of 3rd dimensional Earth history. I will shed light on the interconnections of the two contentions, and liberally add mystical theses from me as a Brother of Light/Fellow of the Great White Lodge.

 

Accordingly, the paper’s goals were as follows:

 

(1)            To present new mystical knowledge regarding the Philippines;

(2)            To share insights concerning the place of PH in the forthcoming Planetary ascension; and,

(3)            To forecast scenarios about PH changes due to the galactic & planetary changes.

 

Presenting fresh knowledge and insights about cosmic awakenings, Earth changes and the Philippines’ role in the ongoing changes, the guru’s talk captivated the eager audience. Questions and shared thoughts were then generated from the audience who were largely seekers and freethinkers from all over PH plus some foreigner participants who traveled all the way from overseas to attend the event.

A well attended conference, with the venue (Air Force Museum) jam packed by a highly enthusiastic audience, the event was very successful. It is the country’s best conference event on the Extraterrestrial issue to date, with very notable speakers who presented papers that were well researched, thus signifying the very high level of authoritativeness on their respective topics.

 

The conference was characteristically Asian & Filipino in that material science and metaphysical (wisdom) discourse were combined to constitute an integrated frame for understanding the phenomenon. The transphysical factors of higher dimensions, spiritual hierarchy, cosmology and prophecy were intertwined with astrophysics, morphology, exopolitics, and futurology in regard to the “alien question.”

 

Dr. Jaime Lichauco, among the country’s foremost authorities on paranormal studies, came to grace the occasion. Dr. Lichauco is a professor and veteran journalist, with a regular opinion column at the topgun newspaper Philippine Daily Inquirer and a radio program at the DZMM.

 

Also appearing to grace the occasion is entertainment industry personality Roy Alvarez. Also a high profile civil society leader with environmentalism & conservationism as his forte, Mr. Alvarez is also mystic and Initiate of the spiritual Brotherhood.

 

A recently constituted nongovernment organization, the UFO Society of the Philippines is led by its dynamic president Antonio Israel, businessman and emerging Ufologist. Its latest conference was held at the Philippine Air Force Museum in Villamor Airbase, MetroManila.

LAW OF POLARITY OR DUALITY

As a continuation of the discourse on cosmic laws, let us reflect this time on another fundamental law: the Law of Polarity or Duality. We’ve had so much immersion to polarity principle and discourse in our lives that it hardly merits additional notes, but for the sake of deepening genuflections on the metaphysical laws let us focus on the law for this moment.

Let’s begin with the lifeworld (world of everyday life). We know that when there’s man, there’s woman. There’s up or Above, so there’s down or Below. There’s a north pole, so there’s a south pole too. There’s warm, so there is cold. There is soft, and there is hard. There is sympathetic, and there is anti-pathetic. There is obese/fat, and there is thin. There is old, so there’s young. Papa there is, so does Mama exist.

We can go on and on and endlessly identify such pairs of antinomy we call ‘polarity’. The kids who were exposed to science early in school know of the electron and proton at the atomic level. As one goes higher in science, one gets to learn of the positron and electron, opposing particles that do clash. There is matter, so there is anti-matter. A universe there exists and easily substantiated, so there must be anti-universe.

In observing a storm of typhoon, which is a common geophysical phenomenon everywhere, we know that there is a force called ‘centripetal’ that tends to pull objects inward to the center or core. Likewise exists a force called ‘centrifugal’ that pulls an object or materials (in powerful tornadoes as huge as buildings are blown off) away from the core or center.

To consolidate our understanding of the polarity/duality principle, let me quote my Initiating Guru Felix Fojas, in the manual on mysticism that he prepared for my batch of Initiates in 1994, to wit:

Law of Polarity or Duality – Everything in nature has a positive and a negative polarity. Positive-electric energy is projective or exerts a centrifugal force which moves away from the source or the center. Negative-magnetic energy attracts or exerts a force that is centripetal or moves towards the source or center. (End of quote)

Being a trained sociologist and political economist, I know by heart that polarity is at the core of social theory. That is, theory coming from the West. Marxist paradigm was dominant for many decades in the social sciences, and I have the opportunity to read the basic books of Marx, Engels, and Lenin, and was able to use Marxism as framework for analyzing and forecasting social phenomena, both domestic and global.

Expounding on Hegelian dialectics, Marx took the law of polarity as the sacrosanct law governing the motion of society. Class struggles eventually lead to social change, from one society to another. Thesis generates its anti-thesis, and the clash between the polar them will produce a synthesis or a new order-of-things that is qualitatively different from the previous state (thesis).

Marxist theory surely is a fitting exemplar of the law of polarity, and one can go ahead to use the paradigm for an understanding of social reality. Provided that, as geometry and divine wisdom teach us, one should know their limits too. A theory can explain a range of phenomena, but only up to a certain range, beyond which its powers to explain are muted or puerile. That is where other theories can be appropriated, based on other universal and/or cosmic laws.

That explains why Marxist theory became obsolete in social science. It is paradigm-based, and paradigms come and go. The cosmic laws that inhere in phenomena, however, are emanations from the One Universal Principle (God), and are in operation for as long as the manvantara (great cycle of life) is in operation. It thus takes profound wisdom, via faculty of discrimination, to judge as to what phenomena can be explicated best by certain cosmic laws.

HELL AS PER DIVINE WISDOM

From negative elementals to negative humans, we cannot escape observing the attributes of negativity. We associate ‘negative’ to those manifest thought, feelings, and actions that are antisocial, hostile, sociopathic. We experience being with negative persons and we feel the dense energies resonating from them even if they don’t talk to us at all.

Such behavior, if persistent and recurring to the extent that it dominates one’s behavior totality or psyche (personality), constitutes the ‘demonic’ among humans. Among elementals or nature beings (devic world) they have their equivalents of negative beings whom ancient ones termed as asura.

What then happens to a negative person upon death? Do they go to ‘hell’? Is hell the same as the kama loka of the ancient Indians? What about Hades, is that a place (location) or a subjectivity, or is it highly destructive energy?

When a person persists on doing crimes incarnation after incarnation, this is what we get from Theos Sophia about their fate: their silver cord will be cut off in the long run, thus undercutting their lower selves or ‘ego’ from the imperishable atma-buddhi-manas upper triad. The cut-off ego will drift in the dense sphere of lower astral dimension and will eventually disintegrate.

Let us note the following quotation from the book The Key to Theosophy by H.P.Blavatsky regarding the subject.

ON THE FATE OF THE LOWER “PRINCIPLES”
ENQUIRER. You spoke of Kama-loka, what is it?
THEOSOPHIST. When the man dies, his lower three principles leave him for ever; i. e., body, life, and the vehicle of the latter, the astral body or the double of the living man. And then, his four principles — the central or middle principle, the animal soul or Kama-rupa, with what it has assimilated from the lower Manas, and the higher triad find themselves in Kama-loka. The latter is an astral locality, the limbus of scholastic theology, the Hades of the ancients, and, strictly speaking, a locality only in a relative sense. It has neither a definite area nor boundary, but exists within subjective space; i. e., is beyond our sensuous perceptions. Still it exists, and it is there that the astral eidolons of all the beings that have lived, animals included, await their second death. For the animals it comes with the disintegration and the entire fading out of their astral particles to the last. For the human eidolon it begins when the Atma-Buddhi-Manasic triad is said to “separate” itself from its lower principles, or the reflection of the ex-personality, by falling into the Devachanic state.
ENQUIRER. And what happens after this?
THEOSOPHIST. Then the Kama-rupic phantom, remaining bereft of its informing thinking principle, the higher Manas, and the lower aspect of the latter, the animal intelligence, no longer receiving light from the higher mind, and no longer having a physical brain to work through, collapses.
ENQUIRER. In what way?
THEOSOPHIST. Well, it falls into the state of the frog when certain portions of its brain are taken out by the vivisector. It can think no more, even on the lowest animal plane. Henceforth it is no longer even the lower Manas, since this “lower” is nothing without the “higher.”
ENQUIRER. And is it this nonentity which we find materializing in Seance rooms with Mediums?
THEOSOPHIST. It is this nonentity. A true nonentity, however, only as to reasoning or cogitating powers, still an Entity, however astral and fluidic, as shown in certain cases when, having been magnetically and unconsciously drawn toward a medium, it is revived for a time and lives in him by proxy, so to speak. This “spook,” or the Kama-rupa, may be compared with the jelly-fish, which has an ethereal gelatinous appearance so long as it is in its own element, or water (the medium’s specific AURA), but which, no sooner is it thrown out of it, than it dissolves in the hand or on the sand, especially in sunlight. In the medium’s Aura, it lives a kind of vicarious life and reasons and speaks either through the medium’s brain or those of other persons present. But this would lead us too far, and upon other people’s grounds, whereon I have no desire to trespass. Let us keep to the subject of reincarnation.
ENQUIRER. What of the latter? How long does the incarnating Ego remain in the Devachanic state?
THEOSOPHIST. This, we are taught, depends on the degree of spirituality and the merit or demerit of the last incarnation. The average time is from ten to fifteen centuries, as I already told you.
ENQUIRER. But why could not this Ego manifest and communicate with mortals as Spiritualists will have it? What is there to prevent a mother from communicating with the children she left on earth, a husband with his wife, and so on? It is a most consoling belief, I must confess; nor do I wonder that those who believe in it are so averse to give it up.
THEOSOPHIST. Nor are they forced to, unless they happen to prefer truth to fiction, however “consoling.” Uncongenial our doctrines may be to Spiritualists; yet, nothing of what we believe in and teach is half as selfish and cruel as what they preach.
ENQUIRER. I do not understand you. What is selfish?
THEOSOPHIST. Their doctrine of the return of Spirits, the real “personalities” as they say; and I will tell you why. If Devachan — call it “paradise” if you like, a “place of bliss and of supreme felicity,” if it is anything — is such a place (or say state), logic tells us that no sorrow or even a shade of pain can be experienced therein. “God shall wipe away all the tears from the eyes” of those in paradise, we read in the book of many promises. And if the “Spirits of the dead” are enabled to return and see all that is going on on earth, and especially in their homes, what kind of bliss can be in store for them?

EARTH’S SEPTENARY CONSTITUTION

Magandang gabi! Good evening!

In previous notes this White Robe from Filipinas already explained the subject of 7 Planes or dimensions of reality. Having been taught Theos Sophia or divine wisdom by the masters (it was El Morya who began to guide me at age 18, assisted by Master Jacob & Seraphim Master), I have used the frames of spiritual science as reference when I began to do my missions to young ones in the 1980s yet.

The question we raise here is: could the Earth possibly comprise of other planes as well? For those who are accustomed to recalling their dreams upon waking up, they know fully well that they’ve just been to the dream world and dreamt of this and that content or theme.

Being an Adept of the Brotherhood, I can testify to the existence of other planes or dimensions of the Earth. By dint of the same experience, I can testify to the existence of other planets that revolve around the sun as well, though these are invisible to the eyes. Theos Sophia in fact revealed 30 planets that revolve around the sun, most planets being invisible to the biophysical eyes.

In answer to the main query, let us note the following quotation from Helena P. Blavatsky’s The Key to Theosophy.

ON THE SEPTENARY CONSTITUTION OF OUR PLANET
ENQUIRER. I understand that you describe our earth as forming part of a chain of earths?
THEOSOPHIST. We do. But the other six “earths” or globes, are not on the same plane of objectivity as our earth is; therefore we cannot see them.
ENQUIRER. Is that on account of the great distance?
THEOSOPHIST. Not at all, for we see with our naked eye planets and even stars at immeasurably greater distances; but it is owing to those six globes being outside our physical means of perception, or plane of being. It is not only that their material density, weight, or fabric are entirely different from those of our earth and the other known planets; but they are (to us) on an entirely different layer of space, so to speak; a layer not to be perceived or felt by our physical senses. And when I say “layer,” please do not allow your fancy to suggest to you layers like strata or beds laid one over the other, for this would only lead to another absurd misconception. What I mean by “layer” is that plane of infinite space which by its nature cannot fall under our ordinary waking perceptions, whether mental or physical; but which exists in nature outside of our normal mentality or consciousness, outside of our three dimensional space, and outside of our division of time. Each of the seven fundamental planes (or layers) in space — of course as a whole, as the pure space of Locke’s definition, not as our finite space — has its own objectivity and subjectivity, its own space and time, its own consciousness and set of senses. But all this will be hardly comprehensible to one trained in the modern ways of thought.
ENQUIRER. What do you mean by a different set of senses? Is there anything on our human plane that you could bring as an illustration of what you say, just to give a clearer idea of what you may mean by this variety of senses, spaces, and respective perceptions?
THEOSOPHIST. None; except, perhaps, that which for Science would be rather a handy peg on which to hang a counter-argument. We have a different set of senses in dream-life, have we not? We feel, talk, hear, see, taste and function in general on a different plane; the change of state of our consciousness being evidenced by the fact that a series of acts and events embracing years, as we think, pass ideally through our mind in one instant. Well, that extreme rapidity of our mental operations in dreams, and the perfect naturalness, for the time being, of all the other functions, show us that we are on quite another plane. Our philosophy teaches us that, as there are seven fundamental forces in nature, and seven planes of being, so there are seven states of consciousness in which man can live, think, remember and have his being. To enumerate these here is impossible, and for this one has to turn to the study of Eastern metaphysics. But in these two states — the waking and the dreaming — every ordinary mortal, from a learned philosopher down to a poor untutored savage, has a good proof that such states differ.
ENQUIRER. You do not accept, then, the well-known explanations of biology and physiology to account for the dream state?
THEOSOPHIST. We do not. We reject even the hypotheses of your psychologists, preferring the teachings of Eastern Wisdom. Believing in seven planes of Kosmic being and states of Consciousness, with regard to the Universe or the Macrocosm, we stop at the fourth plane, finding it impossible to go with any degree of certainty beyond. But with respect to the Microcosm, or man, we speculate freely on his seven states and principles.
ENQUIRER. How do you explain these?
THEOSOPHIST. We find, first of all, two distinct beings in man; the spiritual and the physical, the man who thinks, and the man who records as much of these thoughts as he is able to assimilate. Therefore we divide him into two distinct natures; the upper or the spiritual being, composed of three “principles” or aspects; and the lower or the physical quaternary, composed of four — in all seven.

Whether creation is the endearing criterion for the ceaseless process of becoming in Kosmos is subject of debate. Theos Sophia or divine wisdom, the body of spiritual knowledge and truth mandated by the spiritual Hierarchy to be released to the broad public at the close of the 19th century, has an alternative viewpoint to offer regarding the subject.

The One Universal Principle—omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, God as the folks sayeth, is no personal, anthropomorphic being that we chose to look like. The Spirit-Force from which we were projections or emanations—“creations” as the devotee folks choose to call it—doesn’t sleep at all. So during the ‘day of Brahma’ when the manvantara (cycle of lifewave) begins with the outbreath of the Almighty, Kosmos and subjective worlds (inclusive of beings) emanate from the Spirit-Force, each entity then subject to the universal laws emanating from the same.

God does not create, and there is no such thing as a personal God. These truths were resonated by the mahatmas and their chelas time and again, though indeed such lines are hard to accept by devotees who are used to mechanistic thoughts about the Spirit-Force and the realms of living. That God ‘creates’ is the product of finite mortal minds who equated the evolution process to creation.

Below is the quotation from a section of the book The Key to Theosophy by Helena P. Blavatsky.

EVOLUTION AND ILLUSION
ENQUIRER. But who is it that creates each time the Universe?
THEOSOPHIST. No one creates it. Science would call the process evolution; the pre-Christian philosophers and the Orientalists called it emanation: we, Occultists and Theosophists, see in it the only universal and eternal reality casting a periodical reflection of itself on the infinite Spatial depths. This reflection, which you regard as the objective material universe, we consider as a temporary illusion and nothing else. That alone which is eternal is real.
ENQUIRER. At that rate, you and I are also illusions.
THEOSOPHIST. As flitting personalities, to-day one person, to-morrow another — we are. Would you call the sudden flashes of the Aurora borealis, the Northern lights, a “reality,” though it is as real as can be while you look at it? Certainly not; it is the cause that produces it, if permanent and eternal, which is the only reality, while the other is but a passing, illusion.
ENQUIRER. All this does not explain to me how this illusion called the universe originates; how the conscious to be, proceeds to manifest itself from the unconsciousness that is.
THEOSOPHIST. It is unconsciousness only to our finite consciousness. Verily may we paraphrase verse v, in the 1st chapter of St. John, and say “and (Absolute) light (which is darkness) shineth in darkness (which is illusionary material light); and the darkness comprehendeth it not.” This absolute light is also absolute and immutable law. Whether by radiation or emanation — we need not quarrel over terms — the universe passes out of its homogeneous subjectivity on to the first plane of manifestation, of which planes there are seven, we are taught. With each plane it becomes more dense and material until it reaches this, our plane, on which the only world approximately known and understood in its physical composition by Science, is the planetary or Solar system — one sui generis, we are told.
ENQUIRER. What do you mean by sui generis?
THEOSOPHIST. I mean that, though the fundamental law and the universal working of laws of Nature are uniform, still our Solar system (like every other such system in the millions of others in Cosmos) and even our Earth, has its own programme of manifestations differing from the respective programmes of all others. We speak of the inhabitants of other planets and imagine that if they are men, i. e., thinking entities, they must be as we are. The fancy of poets and painters and sculptors never fails to represent even the angels as a beautiful copy of man — plus wings. We say that all this is an error and a delusion; because, if on this little earth alone one finds such a diversity in its flora, fauna and mankind — from the sea-weed to the cedar of Lebanon, from the jelly-fish to the elephant, from the Bushman and negro to the Apollo Belvedere — alter the conditions cosmic and planetary, and there must be as a result quite a different flora, fauna and mankind. The same laws will fashion quite a different set of things and beings even on this our plane, including in it all our planets. How much more different then must be external nature in other Solar systems, and how foolish is it to judge of other stars and worlds and human beings by our own, as physical science does!
ENQUIRER. But what are your data for this assertion?
THEOSOPHIST. What science in general will never accept as proof — the cumulative testimony of an endless series of Seers who have testified to this fact. Their spiritual visions, real explorations by, and through, physical and spiritual senses untrammelled by blind flesh, were systematically checked and compared one with the other, and their nature sifted. All that was not corroborated by unanimous and collective experience was rejected, while that only was recorded as established truth which, in various ages, under different climes, and throughout an untold series of incessant observations, was found to agree and receive constantly further corroboration. The methods used by our scholars and students of the psycho-spiritual sciences do not differ from those of students of the natural and physical sciences, as you may see. Only our fields of research are on two different planes, and our instruments are made by no human hands, for which reason perchance they are only the more reliable. The retorts, accumulators, and microscopes of the chemist and naturalist may get out of order; the telescope and the astronomer’s horological instruments may get spoiled; our recording instruments are beyond the influence of weather or the elements.
ENQUIRER. And therefore you have implicit faith in them?
THEOSOPHIST. Faith is a word not to be found in theosophical dictionaries: we say knowledge based, on observation and experience. There is this difference, however, that while the observation and experience of physical science lead the Scientists to about as many “working” hypotheses as there are minds to evolve them, our knowledge consents to add to its lore only those facts which have become undeniable, and which are fully and absolutely demonstrated. We have no two beliefs or hypotheses on the same subject.
ENQUIRER. Is it on such data that you came to accept the strange theories we find in Esoteric Buddhism?
THEOSOPHIST. Just so. These theories may be slightly incorrect in their minor details, and even faulty in their exposition by lay students; they are facts in nature, nevertheless, and come nearer the truth than any scientific hypothesis.

SOURCE OF THE SOUL

Let us continue with the reflections on Theos Sophia or divine wisdom, with focus in this note on the source of the human soul. Popular belief holds the reductionist contention that “all souls came from God.” So we may as well begin our thoughts there, for the sake of simplification.

The process of the emergence of souls—of ensoulment—is complex and very tedious. Going by the laws appurtenant to cosmic evolution or cosmogenesis, the first sparks of the One Universal Principle could be conceived as those divine beings on the 7th plane, nearest to the Godhead, who were pure monad. Then consequently the monadic beings emanated or projected their essences unto the next plane, the 6th plane, thus resulting to ‘oversouls’ (buddhi and Christos are equivalent terms)

The next level of evolutes would be conceived of as group-souls emanating or projected from the higher-order oversouls, thus resulting to collective souls at the 5th plane. It is such souls that were planned at the beginning of history in our manvantara or ‘cycle of lifewave’ to embody down further in the lower dimensions or planes, as the evolutionary law says: to be able to evolve, one must devolve.

Let us note the simplification made by HP Blavatsky on the subject, as the following notes were culled from her book The Key to Theosophy.

ON THE SOURCE OF THE HUMAN SOUL
ENQUIRER. How, then, do you account for man being endowed with a Spirit and Soul? Whence these?
THEOSOPHIST. From the Universal Soul. Certainly not bestowed by a personal God. Whence the moist element in the jelly-fish? From the Ocean which surrounds it, in which it lives and breathes and has its being, and whither it returns when dissolved.
ENQUIRER. So you reject the teaching that Soul is given, or breathed into man, by God?
THEOSOPHIST. We are obliged to. The “Soul” spoken of in ch. ii. of Genesis (v. 7) is, as therein stated, the “living Soul” or Nephesh (the vital, animal soul) with which God (we say “nature” and immutable law) endows man like every animal. Is not at all the thinking soul or mind; least of all is it the immortal Spirit.
ENQUIRER. Well, let us put it otherwise: is it God who endows man with a human rational Soul and immortal Spirit?
THEOSOPHIST. Again, in the way you put the question, we must object to it. Since we believe in no personal God, how can we believe that he endows man with anything? But granting, for the sake of argument, a God who takes upon himself the risk of creating a new Soul for every new-born baby, all that can be said is that such a God can hardly be regarded as himself endowed with any wisdom or prevision. Certain other difficulties and the impossibility of reconciling this with the claims made for the mercy, justice, equity and omniscience of that God, are so many deadly reefs on which this theological dogma is daily and hourly broken.

ANTI-MASTER BELLICOSITY OF FAKE LIGHTWORKERS: ANTICHRIST MIND UNLEASHED!

There is today a subtle if not overt maligning and slandering of spiritual Masters by self-acclaimed ‘starseeds’ and ‘lightworkers’. While not exactly alarming as the situation was when masters were persecuted outright, the attitude of hostility and bellicosity are marks of a Demoniac or one ruled by the AntiChrist Mind.

Among devotees of religious cults or sects it would be understandable if the members of a church would malign the founding masters of other religions. That is the polarity they were bred into, their respective gods being those Dark Chohans who desire to become dominant during the pralaya or dissolution phase of the ‘day and night of Brahma’ (in-breath and out-breath of the One Universal Principle).

We are still very much located within the context of the downward arc of the 4th Evolutionary Round, a context of Kali Yuga or Dark Age. So within this context we can understand the predominance of the AntiChrist Mind, which attempts to tear down and annihilate what the Divine Beings have built across eons as spiritual teachings and practices. This mind had already degenerated Western Man into Absolute Evil, and it won’t stop till it will be swept off by the forces of universal law.

So even inside the social networks of ‘starseeds’ and ‘lightworkers’, the AntiChrist types do abound in great numbers. Those puppets of Moloch—the Evil Master who inspires the New Age Religion (centered on psychism, channeling, wicca, or astral fixations)—comprise a very large entourage, with as huge as 35% of one particular social network infested with them.

Their entry into the social networks is also inflamed to the hilt by the presence in the U.S.A. of the representative of the AntiChrist—the embodied soul fragment of Ahriman. His embodiment was prophesied a century ago yet by the master Rudolf Steiner, who revealed Ahriman’s coming embodiment in the West, sheltered as he will be by a family of wealth to which he was born in the 2nd half of the past century.

The Ahrimanic vibration thus serves like fuel unto those Demoniacs who are everywhere, inclusive of starseed and lightworker social networks. It isn’t very difficult to spot them, though some of them resort to metaphysical sophistry to conceal what they are. Those easily identifiable ones openly cast aspersions on Christed Ones, such as to begin a comment with “Ascended Masters are too distant, beyond our reach” idiom.

The anti-master attitude is just one step short of heaping up hysteria among fanatical Demoniacs and persecuting great masters of which dozens are still living on the ground today, aside from the White Robes of 144,000 who already ascended to master awareness level in 2008 yet. 2,000 years ago the same demoniacs conspired with Fallen Ones inside the Sanhedrin to crucify Jesus, and with the Roman authorities to crucify the apostles and disciples.

The same Demoniacs were responsible for the burning of historical and spiritual documents across time. Among the lamentable acts they did to my beloved Philippines was the burning by the Spanish authorities of ancient literary, biographical, and relevant documents, thus undercutting our islanders’ access to our own past heritage. The AntiChrist behavior also destroyed the Filipinos’ inclination to read, a trait that was theirs’ authentically but was lost due to the same evil.

Ahriman, Illuminati Adepts, dark astral beings, and demoniacs on the surface are being closely watched today by the Forces of Light. They can still do a lot of damage with their defamatory and dirty remarks on masters and true spiritual seekers & mystics, yet their window of opportunity for such demonic acts is rapidly closing.

NEXT HUMAN RACES CAN BE: GENIUSES & GIFTED MINDS

In the Letters of Mahatmas to A.Sinnett, the mahatmas—who were Ascend Masters of the spiritual Brotherhood—began to painstakingly explain Theos Sophia or divine wisdom to their western contacts. Those contacts, A.Sinett among them, were the organizers and leaders of the Theosophical Society, created as the vehicle to spread the pronouncements and metaphysical peregrinations of the mahatmas and chohans.

Mahatma Kooth Hoomi was particularly enthusiastic, in his elucidations of the evolutionary principles, in narrating what future humans will be like. He kept mum about the phases of the human evolutes from the 5th through the 7th rounds, but he gave some hints about their characteristics based on personages and divine figures we know.

As to the end of the 4th Evolutionary Round’s last two ‘root races’, the mahatmas were very emphatic of their examples: the brightest intellectuals of the day. In our parlance today, we can subdivide these into two: (a) geniuses, whose intelligence quotience is past 140, and who are on upper 2% of the analytic-logical-linguistic faculties; and, (b) gifted mind, both of whose left brain hemisphere (analytic-logical-linguistic) and right brain (intuitive-esthetic) are in active operation, with IQs past 150, comprising of 1 out of every 10,000 heads.

Using our own modern figures as examples, the likes of Einstein, Jose Rizal (Philippines’ national hero/Southeast Asia’s greatest writer), and Nikola Tesla are examplars of genius-to-gifted minds. The great news is that Terra will comprise a population comprising of them during the last two root subraces: Rizals, Einsteins, Teslas. Those who are today above-average or ‘bright-normal’ in intelligence may still be around to comprise the dumbest of the species.

Visualize the world tens of thousands of years from now, as their archeologists by then will dig through new sites. The said scientists will most likely discover the physical remains and cultural relics of our present family races, and they would perhaps laugh with guffaws at how primitive our races are. “Look at those dull brained sloths, those ridiculous teeth sets that are barbaric (carnivorous),” so they’d muse.

“Oh My God! Look at those internal organs, what do they call them?” they would go aghast at the stomach, intestines, bile, and other organs of frozen remains of ancient humans (our present). “How barbaric!” would be their exclamations as they might burst with guffaws. “They are subhumans who are not unlike ant eaters—they know nothing but eat!!!!!” And they’d instantly know, just by having their auras touch the bone relics, as their mystical faculties (4th Plane senses) are open.

To go on, Mahatma Kooth Hoomi particularly cited Plato as an exemplar of the 5th Round evolute. Plato, to recall, was a great philosopher, gifted mind, Initiate of Theos Sophia, and a spiritual master. So you can extrapolate, from the geniuses and gifted minds, on through ‘masters of wisdom’, that the 5th Round evolutes will be gifted minds whose 5th bodies—or atma (soul)—are activated and operative.

But Mahatma Kooth Hoomi or KH didn’t stop there. He excitingly shared the heraldry that 6th Round evolutes are already with us. He has no better exemplar than that of the Buddha, who ascended at such a very rapid rate and steep upward curve that he even surpassed his predecessors. Already a Planetary Spirit or Dhyan Chohan, Buddha is the indubitable model of all Adepts of mystical science.

Evolution doesn’t stop there however. For there is still a 7th Evolutionary Round, and Mahatma KH simply kept mum about it. But he was very clear in his exclamatory statement that at the end of the Manvantara—great cycle of emanation and contraction of the cosmos—that many souls today, too many to count, won’t make it. They will be destroyed, as he himself exclaimed with deep compassion for those who will disintegrate.

The lesson is clear: evolve into a Dhyan Chohan at least, so that your individuality can be absorbed back into the One Universal Principle: Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent. Who knows that in the next Manvantara, you will be back amongst new divine beings as a Bodhisattva, such as the Lord Earth Store Boddhisattva? That is the challenge posed to us by the One Universal Principle or Godhead.

FORGET PAST HUMANS! DIVINE ELDERS BREED NEW EVOLUTES!

Theos Sophia, divine wisdom, is very clear about the septenary law and the law of evolution. The septenary law concerns the ‘law of 7’, such as the 7 Rays, 7 planes of reality, and so on. The law of evolution posits that man—the thinking being—evolves simultaneously in the spiritual, physical, and mental dimensions. Finally, in order for a soul to evolve, it has to devolve into the physical planes, till finally it evolves upward in the evolutionary arc to the divine spheres or globes.

Accordingly, there are seven (7) Evolutionary Rounds in all, as far as the human cosmogony is involved. Each round is then marked by seven (7) phases in all. The first round was the mineral, the second was the vegetative, the 3rd was the animal, and 4th was the devic-man. The 4th isn’t over yet, as there will still be two (2) phases to begin and end it. The 5th through the 7th Rounds are kept as secrets for now, though mahatmas gave some hints to the evolutes of those rounds.

The 4th Round, to which we properly belong, saw the beginnings of anthropomorphic man. The first two (2) ‘root races’ were shadowy figures, or etheric humans, which we can roughly dub as Pangean (land of Pan). The 3rd ‘root race’ was the Lemurian, with gigantic stature, that populated Land of the Mother or Mu. The 4th ‘root race’ was the Atlantean, which eclipsed its culture in Poseidon.

We are now into the 5th ‘root race’ called Aryan, which already passed through five (5) family races and has two (2) more to evolve before the 6th ‘root race’ emerges. The Western Man is the epitome of the Aryan stocks, and at this time the West had degenerated to Absolute Evil. We are in the downward arc yet of the 4th round, so this explains the ‘dark age’ that we’ve fallen to.

Theos Sophia is very certain about the operations of the One Universal Principle—‘God’ in the parlance of folks and cultists—that when Absolute Evil predominates, the quickening takes place till that race gets eradicated, and a new race is born. So the goal, based on the operations of the Law, is the constitution of the 6th ‘root race’ of Aquarians who will replace the deteriorated Western Man of the moment. The American and Australian ‘family races’ are the last ones for the 5th ‘root race’ prior to the advent of the 6th race.

In case some ignorant ones will dispute the ‘race’ notion, let it be asserted that the principle of ‘race’ is central to the Law of Evolution. Theos Sophia is very emphatic about this. It’s not a “take it or leave it” option. Based on a close scrutiny of patterns across eons, the Ascended Masters derived the presupposition of race as central to the Law, and so they went on to study and observe the evolutes across the eons, as they were permitted to secure data from the Akashic Records and higher sources.

The Law of Evolution of divine wisdom is also contraposed to the lineal evolutionist theory of the West (Darwin, Spenser, Morgan, Tylor were the founders), as it posits a cyclical pattern of evolution. Once a root race had served its purpose, it can never return in the future. Rather, a new ‘root race’ will appear, or better yet will be bred by the Elders of the Race.

The past root races already contributed the galvanization of senses of sight, hearing, feeling/emotions, and intuition. Aryans contributed the perfection of cognition or reason. The next humans will contribute the galvanization of the ‘mystical faculty’, perfection of esthetics, will, wisdom, and inspiration. The last humans will be like unto Christs or Buddhas for the general population.

ABSORBING THEOS SOPHIA (DIVINE WISDOM)

Magandang araw! Good day!

 

I write this note to share some reflections about my own encounter with Theos Sophia as the ‘wisdom of all ages’ handed to us by the Ascended Masters. My learnings of divine wisdom was actually done in many lives already, since my initiation into the Essene Order around 2000 years ago (I became an Elder of the Order during that embodiment).

 

In its most unexpurgated, comprehensive, update version though, my exposure to ‘wisdom of all ages’ spans only two (2) embodiments: (a) as a German professional, circa 1890-1944; and, (b) in my present embodiment as a Filipino intellectual. My thirst for the highest wisdom lessons just couldn’t be quaffed well by any set of metaphysical lessons other than those coming straight from Above, so imagine my excitement during the two embodiments over studying the expanded versions.

 

Germany was already in danger of getting mired into a Dark Age, and so the Hierarchy sent forth seekers and mystics there to ensure that not all is lost in the ‘fatherland’. Steiner and Bardon were among core mystics sent forth there. I met Steiner through his disciple, General von Moltke, who was my mentor as a university student and young professional.

 

Steiner was with the Theosophical Society at its inception in Europe, though he later had some differences with its core positions. I did respect Steiner’s decision to re-formulate divine wisdom in his version of it: anthroposophy. Steiner’s version echoes in the European context what is roughly Kriya philosophy in India, with stress on the ‘pineal’ as the focus of meditations being the Christ center.

 

Upon my entry to university life as a college boy in Manila, I encountered both anthroposophy and theosophy, as I stumbled upon them inside my campus (University of the Philippines). That was no coincidental discovery of course, as I already had a direct meet up with Chohan El Morya at age 18 (during a dream vision), and the Master guided me directly from Above, such as to point to me where readings are available.

 

From the pamphlets and philosophical reviews about theosophy did I discover that Theos Sophia was available for sale at the headquarters of the Theosophical Society or TS, in No. 1 Iba St, Quezon City, MetroManila. So I did begin visiting the TS right after my graduation in 1980 (with a sociology degree), attended some discussions there, and gradually collected my theosophy readings. I decided not to join the TS though, as I found its members fanatical who made a cult figure out of Blavatsky. Divine wisdom was not about making cults, for sure.

 

Those of Steiner’s writings I again encountered at the main library of the University of the Philippines upon my return there to take up graduate studies in late ‘83. Then I found out later, as I visited the Goethe House (it was in Quezon City then), that Steiner books were also available there.

 

It was surely tough to integrate facets of divine wisdom coming from the TS materials and anthroposophy, but my position is clear about them: they are both contributions to articulating divine wisdom, and they were written by living great masters.

 

There was yet a 3rd stream of articulations of the same, as I found out later: Kriya philosophy, as propounded by Paramahansa Yogananda. Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahayasa, and Sri Yutekswar Giri articulated Kriya straight to PYogananda. The great master was mentored by Sri Yutekswar Giri who was still alive then, who in turn was mentored by Lahiri Mahayasa and Mahavatar Babaji.

 

Three (3) streams of thought contributed to contemporary articulations of divine wisdom, and no matter how disparate they sounded in content, I took the challenge to integrate them all just the same. They came straight from Divine Beings, and as I young seeker I digested the policy of accepting truths only from Ascended Masters.

THEOS SOPHIA: DIVINE WISDOM RE-ASSERTED

Good day from this Fellow of the spiritual Brotherhood!

The ‘quickening’ is now taking place as I write this note. By ‘quickening’ is meant the acceleration of events leading to a mutation in human awareness, the object being to locate humanity nearer to the threshold of the next ‘root race’ during that will mark the ascension phase of the 4th ‘evolutionary round’ of Earth humans.

Let me remind the seekers, mystics, and so-called ‘starseeds’ (those who lived few embodiments on Earth) that I perceive reality from the perspective of Theos Sophia or divine wisdom. Divine Wisdom is also referred to as ‘the Teaching’, ‘universal mysticism’, ‘mystical science’, the ‘7 Rays’, ‘occult science’.

I stand squarely behind Theos Sophia, as it is wisdom directly inferred from Above by the deep studies of Mahatmas, Chohans, Dhyan Chohans, Dhyani-Buddhas (Archangels), in other words by Ascended Masters. I was mentored no less by the mahatmas and chohans of the Great White Brotherhood, or simply ‘Brotherhood’, and I tried in my own ways to bring the Teaching to seekers on a digestible version as the ‘7 Rays’.

Theos Sophia used to be learned only by the prepared or elect ones—the Initiates of the ‘inner mysteries—in as much as the unprepared Terrans tended to corrupt teachings of the purest wisdom. Plato, for instance, was an Initiate, and knew as a protocol of the Brotherhood that he can never openly release to mankind the truths that he held as an Adept. Paul, apostle of Jesus and Initiate of the Brotherhood, also kept mum about what he knew, sufficing himself to write discourses that were fit for the uninitiated folks.

Then with the gathering of momentum for the quickening, the Chohans of the Brotherhood decided finally to release Theos Sophia to society at large. Certain mahatmas from the Himalayas—where a center of the Brotherhood has been in operations for so long now—were mandated precisely to interact with select fellows—HP Blavatsky, A.Besant, A.Sinett, Q.Judge—who will serve as heralds of divine wisdom.

Living great masters, notably Kooth Hoomi and Morya El, were directed by the Chohans and Mahachohan to interface with the contacts from the West and India who defined the appropriate vehicle as the Theosophical Society. Needless to say, the Great Grandmaster of the Brotherhood, Lord Kolki, gave the go-signal for the release of divine wisdom, around the last decades of the 19th century.

Amid the internal storms and squabbles within the institutional vehicle—Theosophical Society—the release of Theos Sophia to the chosen heralds went unhampered, up through the entry of new leaders such as Rev. Leadbeater and Geoffrey Hodson. At one juncture, Mahatma Kooth Hoomi must have been drained by the excessive disputations regarding philosophy, process, and structure within the society, that he took some months of retreat.

But the grand project to release Theos Sophia to the general public must ensue. The urgency to release it was already the exigency of the moment. The result of the heraldries was the monumental 3-volume Secret Doctrine, penned by Helena P. Blavatsky, with co-articulations by the mahatmas.

The milestone planetary ascension is now near, Theos Sophia was already correspondingly spread to the peoples of planet Earth, and so it may be time to evaluate—down here on the surface—where the dissemination has gone through. What is clear, regardless of what forms the evaluations will take, is that divine wisdom has been available to everyone since its release, with reality unveiled at last without expurgation of the finest details of knowledge and wisdom.

DRACO’S SLAYERS: SIEGFRIED AND GANDHI January 25, 2011

Let me continue with the Draco theme that I’ve been discoursing on so far. For this piece I will conduct reflections about Siegfried and Mahatma Gandhi, one a folk hero and the other a historical great man, who both battled dragons and who lost their lives in the end as a highest form of sacrifice in the pursuit of most noble ends.

Siegfried is a very beautiful narrative, a very inspiring piece for the heroism and redemption that goes with it. I am very much enamored to Siegfried, perhaps due to my own breeding as a warrior—and great warrior no less—leading armies to battle, conquering lands, and then bringing peace and prosperity thereafter for many embodiments. Besides, I was a Teuton (German) for couples of embodiments, and I know German folklore by heart.

Likewise have I great admiration for the music of Wagner, among which is the hero’s burial for Siegfried. Wagner may by S.O.B. in person, but during his moments of composing music he was able to attune to the ‘music of the spheres’, with both devas and angels downloading sample tunes for the musical master to savor and document (with modifications if he wishes). Wagner did justice to Siegfried, likewise to the Light Beings of Valhalla (etheric cities) whom he captured in his very lively compositions.

To get it straight to the denouement, Siegfried defeated the dragon (Draco’s evil intents in our DNA programming). The battle was waged inside a cave (our inner space or ‘unconscious’ self). Upon slaying the dragon, Siegfried bathed himself with its blood to become invincible and deathless in battles (a celebration of victory over the gross ‘lower self’).

Because Siegfried was residing in the dense 3rd dimension, no matter how victorious may he be versus an external dragon and/or his lower self, he will always encounter competing forces within his own organization (warriorship). Envy and jealousy drove a fellow warrior to betray him by piercing a spear in Siegfried’s back that failed to be immersed with dragon’s blood (last spot of behavioral vulnerability).

Siegfried’s story is the archetype that can account for many heroic battles versus both external enemies and the gross lower self. Such as the narrative of Mahatma Gandhi, who battled both an external dragon (British empire) and an internal enemy (gross lower self). To go straight to the denouement, Gandhi was impeccably victorious over both arch-enemies. What makes him much more awe-inspiring was his use of active non-violence versus the external dragon that was a radical innovation altogether akin to the avatar Jesus “love thy enemy” innovation 2,000 years back.

To enable the growth of a new nation, Gandhi had to do the extreme sacrifice of absorbing part of the collective karma of new India. That sacrifice was to be manifested in his assassination by a local fanatic within his own organization (guards provided by the state). Feeling no bitterness, he immediately forgave his assassin while invoking his last words, “Rama, Rama!”

In both narratives, there was no show of bitterness whatsoever. No matter if they died very violent deaths, their physical exit was one that they welcomed as they both knew the risk entailed by their roles and missions. Had Siegfried and Gandhi shown bitterness to their killers, their defeat of the dragon could have been cancelled out.

Thus, up to the very last breath of theirs, both folk hero and historical hero exhibited their total victory against Draco (and Lucifer) as represented by the gross lower self and external enemies. No one then should wonder why both figures are exalted in their respective lands and in other cultures as well, even as both continue to inspire peoples the world over who are on the liberation Path.
